Yes! Kids also get a free fire-hat for visiting.
I apologize for the miscommunication. We do have several items that do not contain gluten. Since our kitchen is shared, there may be trace amounts of gluten despite our best efforts - and not recommended for those with severe allergies.

Hi Mike, we serve our own beers and often have a cider. We also craft our own award-winning wine. We usually only carry a couple of bottle domestics, typically Bud Lite or Coors.
Yes.
Yes, all of our burgers can be made with buffalo.
Unfortunately due to a past incident, dogs are not allowed on our patio with the exception of service animals.
Our beer and wine is available for purchase at Main Street Square during select events seasonal events. If you're looking for a wider selection, our downtown winery and brewery is located less than a block away.
Yes they do, and they have dinner theater there as well!
We currently do not sell fried pickles, but I can certainly pass your recommendation on to our chef.
Great food and friendly service, staff properly wearing masks, a great experience.
Worthy of a visit, the beer selection is fine, the 9 beer 'flight' was very inexpensive and the way to go on an initial visit. The 'Firehouse' atmosphere is interesting and fun. They also have a wine tasting section in the building next door.
Fantastic food, absolutely AMAZING Shrimp, great burgers. 10/10
Food was good but a little pricey.
This is a happening place! Popular, busy, and cool. The food was good, if not a little overpriced, but the microbrewed beer paired very well with my meal and made the overall experience rather memorable. Located in downtown Rapid City, this is a restaurant ot to be missed while in the area!
Seriously loved this place... was a bit skeptical because if some if the poor reviews but so glad we came. The IPA was excellent and the snacks generous... great staff and great vibe!
Awesome selection and wonderful service! The pulled pork is amazing! Highly recommend the Beer-B-Q Mild sauce... nice hint of sweetness.
Beer was so bad, idk why they even bother selling crowlers. The root beer was good, very licorice heavy. The food and service is really what made this place good. The brewery part is to just trick your husbands to go there, in my opinion.
We're not sure why FBC was only rated a 3.9? A part from the comical and impressive advertising into Rapid City, FBC offered a unique & friendly environment with delicious food and good beer. Our server Logan was very friendly and made sure we always had everything we needed. The only reason I would give a lesser rating is due to the fact that I Love IPAs and they only had one on tap. However, the beers they did have were still very good! Highly recommend!
Very nice location. We saw their advertising firetrucks allready on highway 90.The building and decoration give it a nice charm. We just went there for some beers as nd fingerfood.Had the bell tower lager, which I really loved! Also went for the tuna nacho's and they where great. Had just a little spicy touch in them which didn't kill the other flavours.
Very fun atmosphere! The food and beers were very good. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They obviously have beer and food but they also have a variety of wines and a gift shop. If I'm ever around there again I'll definitely stop in!
Excellent beer and food! Service is good, courteous and fast. Highly recommend
Loved everything. Great service, fast and hot food.
Great place to eat and hang out. Good food...I had the ribs and they were awesome!! This was a old firehouse which makes the place that much cooler and the even have a little theater that they do place and stuff on the weekends....worth a visit if your in Rapid City!!! Service was good to!!
My wife and I stopped here for a late lunch. While the food was really good, the service was just moderate. The host didn't greet us and seemed reluctant to accommodate. Our server was better, but she didn't seem very friendly. It sort of felt like we were a burden, even though there were many open tables. I think this place is mostly fine and we may have caught it at bad timing, but just something to consider.
Beer was good. I had the Black Hills Brown ale. The Ranchers Pie was good. Nice atmosphere. Kinda spendy I thought. But I would go back.
Beers were very good. Food varied between so-so and very good. Service was slow. Granted the patio area where we were seated was pretty full, but it took 10 minutes for a server to come ask us our beer order. Unfortunately, she didn't know the beers and there was no printed list! She pointed out that the list is on small tv screens on the patio, but none were in our view (they could use about 3x the number of screens to make this work). Once I walked 3 tables over to see a screen, I could finally order. It then took 15-20 minutes for the beers to arrive at our table! Dinner was ordered when the beer came. Food service was equally slow. This was our first visit while we were passing through area. It's possible that they were VERY short-handed and dealing with new staff, but we were not impressed with the service.
Nice atmosphere with a lot of history. It’s pub food with some speciality items. Diffidently go for something you can’t normally get elsewhere for a unique experience. Beer options are a plenty so you might try a flight of 5 to taste test if your not a picky beer person.
Food is excellent, beer is mostly average. I had the "And The Some," and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Unfortunately the green beans seemed to be canned, not fresh. My wife had the Buffalo Blue Burger with cheddar instead of bleu cheese and enjoyed it. One beer I did really like was the fall seasonal.
Nice location in downtown Rapid City, this brewery as it is built inside, you guessed, a former firehouse. The beer is decent and the food was typical brewery fare. It is just unfortunate that it took about 20 minutes to get all of our meals and that our waitress, as friendly as she was, forgot to check on us several times. The fact that we were with young children made it even more obvious. Overall, a pleasant place to share a pint in a nice location.
Great brunch option. Will definitely come back on another visit.
Staff was great, friendly, just wonderful! But the food was mediocre. I ordered the Seared Tuna Asian Salad, which is an entrée I have had many places. This was the worst ever. It had zero flavor, and the only thing Asian about it was the edamame. Sad! I feel like it should be impossible to screw it up! But they did. My date had a Cesar salad, and it too was nothing exciting. I can't speak for the rest of their menu, but those two were a fail.
Amazing food, not only is this a really cool place because it's an old firehouse turned brewery, but the food really is top notch. Had the ribs, pulled pork, and stuffed mushrooms... so much good food could not finish it all. A must see
Staff was friendly and helpful. Building is cool. Food was pretty good except for the ribs. I expected them to the fall off the bone but they were tough. Could've used another hour or so to get tender.
Stopped here for dinner after a long day on the road, staff and server were very nice and helpful. The food was alright; I got the Fire Marshall chicken sandwich which was good and my wife got the fish tacos which were...ok. however beer and service were good so I'd stop in again next time I'm in town.
I have never been disappointed by the Firehouse the food, beer, atmosphere and super staff are all the best. It is no wonder it is the busiest restaurant in the state. I like to wait for my table at the Firehouse Wine Cellars
Friendly staff, good beer, and great atmosphere.
Good food, cool atmosphere. The old firehouse has tons of history and is unique.
I wasn't really impressed by this establishment, it was recommended by door man at my hotel. The hostess made me feel more welcomed than the waiter. I ordered a sandwich that came with lettuce and tomato on the side however the sandwich was not served open face it was melted shut with cheese. My waiter was not attentive to my needs such as giving me utensils or napkins. The place is physically awesome just didn't feel welcomed.
Solid brewpub. The place to be in Rapid City it would seem with a full house on this Monday night. Descent local brews and great food. I had the Spontaneous Heating Gumbo at the bar which paired well with the Black Hills Brown and the friendly service.
I've wanted to come for some time now. My eldest brother and an uncle were both Fire Chiefs and the company's saving the building, the history, wonderful pieces of equipment... I could go on and on about what piqued my interest, but let me tell you about what blew my mind. The staff is talented, pleasant. They seem to enjoy where they work and that makes Firehouse Brewing's atmosphere great. Great for dates, family outings, friends night out. And I haven't even said a word yet about the food or the beverages! Huge portions of truly delicious food. The range of food, sides, desserts has something for everyone. The beverage boards are just as diverse. If beer is not your thing (though I do suggest you try some craft) they have mixed drinks. They have soda (Coke) products, water. Give yourself a treat, at least once. I'll wager you'll want seconds.
The wait took a while. But when we got the food it was delicouse. The portions are about medium - large. And the staff were freindly to.
Ordered the fish and chips and the sauce was amazing!! Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms, & amazing patio with fire place. Friendly staff but a little weird
Very cool place!!! One of the nicest patios that we have visited. The staff was nice and did a great job. Very good French fries. Burger was good but not great. Root beer was good but not served in a frosted mug?
Unique firehouse restaurant! The food was just okay. The family purchased burgers, kids macaroni bites & pork sandwich. The beer on tap was good. The server, Logan, was knowledge about the beer-which was helpful! The burger was so thin they can't/don't ask how you want it cooked. There really wasn't any flavor really in the burgers. The kids mac & cheese bites are tiny. The kids get a firehouse hat for free which is awesome & makes for a great experience. Promptly greeted by the hostesses which was awesome!
Was just looking for a place to grab a drink and relax and the gentleman working was pleasant and was great at recommending something new to drink.
Heard a lot of great things about this place and it truly lived up to the reviews and praise. The food is excellent and has something that works of everyone. The decor is also great! It really gives off a happy and welcoming vibe.
As travelers, we took notice of the billboards a long the highway and thought this would be a great place to stop. The atmosphere of the bar and restaurant were great! I would give this place a 5 star rating however, the waitress was not to par. When asked what beers were on tap, her answer was “read it off the scrolling menu on the wallâ€. Well, sorry I asked! Almost any brewery I have visited, the staff knew every beer on tap and offered info about them. Her behavior was rather rude throughout the dinner. She neglected to take dessert orders for all members of our party. She was asked to take the remaining orders. When she returned with the desserts, she dropped off the plates abruptly on the table. Not once did she stop by to see how the food was or if we needed anything. Finally, she slammed the bills folders on the table and walked away. I have frequented many establishments as this and by far, this was the worst service. Good luck!
This place was awesome! The food was very good. Their craft beer is tasty. When we went it was busy but our waitress was punctual. The coasters are also post cards! We sent a couple of them out to friends.
My kind of place all around. The theme is great a brewery in an old converted Firehouse, brewing since 1992. We did a flight of all 9 beers and they were all solid. Highlight for me was probably the English Pale Ale. I had the brisket to eat and it was also very good and the patato salad I think had bacon and was definitely a highlight. If beer isn't your thing they also have expanded to ibclud a winery as well. Be sure to try and find the patch from your local Firehouse!
The food was good overall - I had the rib and sausage combo which was a generous portion. The beers served were ok but not brilliant. The staff were friendly. Food took a little time to arrive.
Stopped in here after our plane landed from the East Coast. I was very happy they had a beyond burger on the menu! I ordered that and one of their beers (unfortunately I cant recall which one) and the entire meal and experience was great. Our waitress was really sweet and talkative.
The nachos dish on appetizer menu was delish, as well as the blonde ale.
Decent bar food and beer
Even though we came at the height of the Sturgis event and there were hundreds of bikers downtown, we were seated immediately, waited on promptly and dinner came very fast. The Poke Nachos are the bomb. The half rack outstanding, and the White Chili was scrumptious. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Food mediocre. Beer is good. Would probably try again. Pic of poke nachos.
